As an Intern, you will apply your coursework to a focused hands-on project working directly with an experienced R&D team. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Agilent's industry, infrastructure and products in your assignment. Agilent's Chemical Analysis Solutions unit enjoys a strong market leadership position in GC-MS hardware and software products and services.
We have an immediate need for a talented R&D Chemist with experience in MS and GC-MS instrumentation and/or applications development. You will join a small team working on next-generation mass spectrometer technology. You will work with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team environment (Electrical Engineer's, Mechanical Engineer's, Chemists and Software Engineers). You will also work in a rewarding and exciting R&D environment emphasizing design and verification for total customer satisfaction through the creative achievement of performance, cost, and time-to-market trade-offs in bringing Agilent's chemical analysis systems to high-volume markets.
Required:
Intern will have completed three years in a chemistry program or closely related field.
*Proven ability to work and think independently
*Significant course work in Physics and Chemistry
*Strong communication skills
Preferred:
*Experience working with complex analytical instrumentation.
*MS experience
Agilent will not sponsor work authorization for this position.
