Johnson & Associates, LLC is seeking a contract developer to assist our client's product development team on an Ingenium (Solcorp) based project. Experience with the Life Insurance Domain and Annuities a plus. Candidates should have experience in Cobol, MVS, CICS, DB2 & JCL.
Client offers a 6 month initial contract with additional extended time if budgeted and warranted. They prefer the developer to be on-site (Midwest) but will allow some flexibility to the right candidate for remote work. This contract provides an excellent work environment, facilities, and team. The culture is not chaos nor cut-throat. They work hard and at an urgent pace to accomplish project and company objectives but they are not known for burning out contractors or employees. Very nice, Midwest values and people to work for as employees and contractors. Contractors in the past have happily converted to FTE's - no indication from the client that this is projected at this time for this engagement.
Johnson & Associates is interested in hearing from you for this position if you are qualified and eager to build a new relationship with us and our clients. Our contractor pay averages 80% of the billrate depending on your benefits requirements as a W-2 or 1099 independent contractor. We pay bi-weekly regardless of A/R. We don't bring many expectations other than you represent yourself and our business as professionals on the job but we also won't place you on a project and forget about you until renewal time.
