• Developed a number of custom objects: Tables, Business Views, Inquiry Forms, Processing Options, Data Structures, Error Messages, Business Functions and Reports. The purpose of these objects was to identify the transactions for each project and associate all required information for reimbursement purposes. Once a transaction was designated for reimbursement, it was flagged as billed and assigned an 'invoice' number from the A/R System. The standard JDE Service Billing Workfile (F4812) and Service Billing Workfile History (F4812H) was mimicked to include existing functionality, but was modified to include the associated payment information from the F0413 and F0414 Accounts Payable files. This Grant Billing system functioned totally autonomous from the standard JDE Service Billing system.

• Developed a series of specialized custom applications that were a sub system of the Service Billing System that enabled support of Reimbursement of Operational Funding: Grant Billing Tracking.
Currently, NCTD uses the Project Tracking System (PTS) to enter paid transactions by project to serve as the backup information for reimbursement requests for the funding agencies. PTS functionality includes:
a) The ability to allocate each transaction based on a predetermined funding split to the Federal, State, Local, or Other agencies.
b) The ability to track transactions to an appropriation level, allowing certain funds to be paired or grouped and used in a specific order
c) The ability to override each transaction's information including funding source and amount.
